Cornelius Wiesener and Astrid Kjeldgaard-Pedersen are currently engaged in a research project aiming to map and disentangle the different grounds and avenues under which states can incur responsibility for misconduct by partners (i.e. other states, armed groups and IOs). This presentation will focus on the general rules of state responsibility that cut across the different specialized regimes of international law. The speakers will discuss recent contributions to international legal scholarship on shared responsibility and attempt to outline how the rules on \u2018attribution\u2019 and \u2018complicity\u2019 apply in specific mission scenarios.<\/p>\n
