On July 1st, 2022, the International Criminal Court (ICC) will mark the 20th anniversary of the entry into force of the Rome Statute, its constitutive treaty.<\/p>\n
To mark this coming event iCourts are hosting a virtual conference focusing on fact-finding and proof in international criminal trials. The conference intends to bring together researchers, academics, and practitioners across the fields of law, the forensic sciences, political science, and psychology, and allied disciplines.<\/p>\n
This unique conference will serve to generate dialogue, and to facilitate engagement, with the latest theoretical and empirical work: research which advances the study of evidence and proof in international criminal trials, shaping our current understandings, and laying the foundations for future innovations.<\/p>\n
