Summary:
\nThe book is a detailed analysis of\u00a0militarisation’s\u00a0permeation and consolidation within Uganda’s economy. It details the loss of livelihoods, weakened civilian institutions, human rights violations, and widened patrimonial networks among other outcomes of deploying Uganda’s military to the country’s key development sectors such as fisheries, agriculture, land, and mineral resources.\u00a0The book is the product of a collaboration between\u00a0the Human Rights and Peace Centre (HURIPEC) at\u00a0Makerere\u00a0University and CRIC at the University of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
