People and their recollection are moving things, nothing last forever, and suddenly we look at the world through different eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Meet professor Mathias Danbolt from Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen.<br \/>\nMathias\u00b4 research investigates where art history and colonial history intersects with a special focus on the political aspects of our common recollection, our relationship with monuments and with art in the public space.<\/p>\n<p>Does it make sense to protect and even refurbish monuments that have outlived themselves?
