Yonder Art\u2022Science at the Niels Bohr Institute is an official partner of the Copenhagen Photography Festival<\/a>, with the exhibition A Responsibility to Awe<\/em>, by scientist and photographer Judit Prat Mart\u00ed (postdoc at Yonder, DARK), and curated by Jo Verwohlt, also from Yonder, DARK, which will open on June 10th Wednesday at 4pm-7pm<\/a>. There will be reception with wine and light snacks and everyone is welcome to join. The exhibition will also be open from 10 June – 21 June, during normal NBI building open hours (8am-5pm).<\/p>\n

The exhibition invites viewers to cultivate the sense of awe in their everyday life, connecting images of the city of Copenhagen with images of the night sky, for which we are typically more used to experience this feeling. The images of the night sky are from the Dark Energy Survey, a scientific experiment that has mapped hundreds of millions of galaxies to understand better why the Universe\u2019s expansion is accelerating, and the project at the heart of the photographer’s own scientific career.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
