The workshop will focus on the areas where art has already entered the discourse of international courts and influences their performance. Contributions are invited along the following thematic lines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Art in the practice of reparations at the International Criminal Court, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights;<\/li>\n<li>Architectural design of international courts, interior design of courtrooms and other aesthetic attributes of international justice (judicial attire, eloquence and rhetoric) in shaping popular perception of international justice;<\/li>\n<li>Art as a method of international courts&#8217; outreach efforts to a wider community;<\/li>\n<li>Art and cultural heritage as a value receiving increased protection by international<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jura.ku.dk\/icourts\/calendar\/2019\/art-and-international-courts\/\"><strong>Read more and sign up<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This one and a half day workshop will explore the role of art in the practice of international courts.
