They wanted to avoid an expensive security operation in connection with Christiania visit","use_post_excerpt":false},{"acf_fc_layout":"Content","content":"<p>Five leading PET (Danish Intelligence) employees have accused head of the agency, Jacob Scharf, of breaking the rules when he tried to prevent Pia Kj\u00e6rsgaard from making a fact-finding visit to the \u2018free state\u2019 of Christiania.<\/p>\n<p>According to the five, Mr Scharf ordered agents to secretly look in the then Danish People\u2019s Party leader\u2019s appointment book so they could suggest a day when it would be impossible for her to attend \u2013 the PET boss allegedly believed the security operation needed to protect her would be far too expensive and troublesome.
