Working hours are 10-15 hours per week.<\/p>\n<p>It is a temporary, one year, position.<\/p>\n<p>We take pride in being a good place to work for students, and several of our student employees have ended up helping set the agenda with their stories.<\/p>\n<h3>About us<\/h3>\n<p>The University Post consists of the site Uniavisen.dk (English: The University Post), and the printed Uniavisen magazine. We are editorially independent of the management at the University of Copenhagen, and our platforms are edited according to journalistic news criteria. The newsroom consists of an editor-in-chief, a head of newsroom, three journalists and two students. The newsroom is located in Store Kannikestr\u00e6de in the centre of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<h3>The job<\/h3>\n<p>With our supervision, you will do administrative editorial work and write articles. The tasks include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research prior to the production of articles<\/li>\n<li>Writing articles for uniavisen.dk\/universitypost.dk under our supervision<\/li>\n<li>Uploading articles to the CMS system<\/li>\n<li>Developing a network of sources among students<\/li>\n<li>Updating the University Post&#8217;s social media, mostly Instagram.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- end of module 1 --><\/p>\n<h3>Your skills<\/h3>\n<p>To be hired you need to have been enrolled as a student on a Danish higher education programme for at least one year on 1 November 2020, and have a work permit if you are a Non-EU\/EEA\/Swiss citizen (easily obtainable for jobs up to 20 hours a week).<\/p>\n<p>You need to be good at writing, full of ideas and be bold \u2013 both in terms of learning new journalistic work processes and in terms of grabbing the phone and contacting complete strangers. Experience in videos and photos is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. We publish in both English and Danish, so you need to be fluent in both of these languages. The work will take place under the supervision of the editorial team.<\/p>\n<h3>Conditions of employment<\/h3>\n<p>The terms of employment are pursuant to section 35 of the organisation agreement concluded between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Union of Commercial and Clerical Employees in Denmark\/State (HK\/Stat) for clerical staff, laboratory technicians and IT employees and the multi-union collective agreement concluded between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organisations of Public Employees \u2013 Denmark \u2013 Danish State Sector (the OAO multi-union collective agreement). The minimum hourly salary is DKK 123.04. (1 October 2018 level). Working hours are 10-15 hours per week.<\/p>\n<p>It is a temporary, one year, position.<\/p>\n<p>We take pride in being a good place to work for students, and several of our student employees have ended up helping set the agenda with their stories.<\/p>\n<h3>About us<\/h3>\n<p>The University Post consists of the site Uniavisen.dk (English: The University Post), and the printed Uniavisen magazine. We are editorially independent of the management at the University of Copenhagen, and our platforms are edited according to journalistic news criteria. The newsroom consists of an editor-in-chief, a head of newsroom, three journalists and two students. The newsroom is located in Store Kannikestr\u00e6de in the centre of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<h3>The job<\/h3>\n<p>With our supervision, you will do administrative editorial work and write articles. The tasks include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research prior to the production of articles<\/li>\n<li>Writing articles for uniavisen.dk\/universitypost.dk under our supervision<\/li>\n<li>Uploading articles to the CMS system<\/li>\n<li>Developing a network of sources among students<\/li>\n<li>Updating the University Post&#8217;s social media, mostly Instagram.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"Content","content":"<h3>Your skills<\/h3>\n<p>To be hired you need to have been enrolled as a student on a Danish higher education programme for at least one year on 1 November 2020, and have a work permit if you are a Non-EU\/EEA\/Swiss citizen (easily obtainable for jobs up to 20 hours a week).<\/p>\n<p>You need to be good at writing, full of ideas and be bold \u2013 both in terms of learning new journalistic work processes and in terms of grabbing the phone and contacting complete strangers. Experience in videos and photos is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. We publish in both English and Danish, so you need to be fluent in both of these languages. The work will take place under the supervision of the editorial team.<\/p>\n<h3>Conditions of employment<\/h3>\n<p>The terms of employment are pursuant to section 35 of the organisation agreement concluded between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Union of Commercial and Clerical Employees in Denmark\/State (HK\/Stat) for clerical staff, laboratory technicians and IT employees and the multi-union collective agreement concluded between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organisations of Public Employees \u2013 Denmark \u2013 Danish State Sector (the OAO multi-union collective agreement). The minimum hourly salary is DKK 123.04. (1 October 2018 level).
