occurred in the ministerial car on the way to work, where S\u00f8vndal was set to meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, reports Seven59.dk.<\/p>\n<p>The Ethiopian Prime Minister <a href=\"node\/22051\"> was later at a University of Copenhagen event here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>61 year-old Sovndal was uncomfortable in the morning and complained of chest pain. An ambulance was called, and S\u00f8vndal underwent an angioplasty, and people who have visited him after surgery, says he is doing well, and is expected to return to work quickly.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f8vndal was also set to participate in meetings in relation to the Global Green Growth Institute, GGGI, which has been in the spolight recently over misuse of government funds on travel expenses. <\/p>\n<p>Annette Vilhelmsen, Ministry of Social Affairs and Integratuion, says ”S\u00f8vndal has undergone successful surgery this morning. Our thoughts go out to both S\u00f8vndal and his family.
