Do you walk in the right direction, or not?<\/em><\/p>\nI try to go along with the rules. But when there are not that many people in the corridors, I just walk any direction. When I’m going to the canteen, I take the closest staircase, even though it’s one-way in the opposite direction. You only have fifteen minutes to get there and buy coffee. It is also easy to just follow the others.<\/p>\n
What do you think of the university trying to fight corona like this?<\/em><\/p>\nIt’s OK. They have to do something specific. But when you have to switch classes in the classrooms, there are a lot of people in the corridor. And when we don’t uphold distancing, then the one way system is useless.<\/p>\n
Does it work?<\/em><\/p>\nNo, I don’t really think so. I don\u2019t think it works. But it may help keep it at the top of your mind that you have to take precautions. You are certainly reminded of it all the time.

\nDo you walk in the right direction, or not?<\/em><\/p>\nNormally, I would follow the rules and the one way system. But now that my classroom was so close to an exit, I went against it.<\/p>\n
What do you think of the university trying to fight corona like this?<\/em><\/p>\nI think it’s sensible. I am not sure people are complying with it. When you go to the bathroom you don’t go all the way around to get back to your classroom again. But the principle is good. I reckon people will comply with this to some extent.<\/p>\n
Does it work?<\/em><\/p>\nI definitely think it does help. You have to make a decision on it when you have to go up to the 1st floor, because if you comply, you have to go up from the other end of the building. If this was really to work, I think there would have to be staff guiding people around. The rule about the one way system came before the mask rules, and I thought it was really well thought out. Even though the masks probably have a bigger effect.

What do you think of the university trying to fight corona like this?<\/em><\/p>\nIt is a bit unrealistic with the one way system when the hallways are so narrow and there are sitting areas. But the guidelines are fine.<\/p>\n
Does it work?<\/em><\/p>\nNo, not really. People crowd together all over campus, especially in the canteen. The most important thing is to have a mask on.

\nDo you walk in the right direction, or not?<\/em><\/p>\nI try to, as much as possible. If I’m in a rush, I don’t always do it. This applies to both if I have to go to a particular floor and when have to go back to class after having been to the bathroom.<\/p>\n
What do you think of the university trying to fight corona like this?<\/em><\/p>\nI don’t really think it works. I don’t know whether this is actually based on science. It seems like symbolic politics.<\/p>\n
Does it work?<\/em><\/p>\nNot if it is not observed. There are a lot of people in the corridor when a class has to enter a room. If you have to go through them, then it doesn’t matter whether it is a one way system or not.

But it may help keep it at the top of your mind that you have to take precautions. I am not sure people are complying with it. When you go to the bathroom you don’t go all the way around to get back to your classroom again. But the principle is good. You have to make a decision on it when you have to go up to the 1st floor, because if you comply, you have to go up from the other end of the building.
