Trying to find the venue for a meeting recently, Economics student Rodica Plamadeala, originally from Moldova, called up on her low-tech \u2018normal\u2019 mobile. Her former boss told her to \u201cjust look up the address on your smartphone\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t have a smartphone,\u201d she replied. <\/p>\n

\u201cWell then,\u201d he quipped, \u201cthe only thing that is smart is you\u201d.<\/p>\n

She has now won the main prize in the University Post \/ Uniavisen competition, and it is a new iPhone5 smartphone from My-Phoneshop.dk.<\/p>\n

Regular reader<\/h2>\n

Rodica, who now also has a student assistant job helping out with experimental economics, is a regular reader of UniversityPost.dk.<\/p>\n

\u201cI regularly share and post University Post stories on a Romanian students\u2019 group GRASP\u2019s facebook page when I find something really useful. For example the guide to shops where you can buy cheap clothes<\/a>,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Not enough with just the University Post, she even reads the Danish-language Uniavisen.dk<\/a>, as she is learning Danish: \u201cI read the articles with a dictionary next to me, to help me improve my vocabulary,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Winners informed<\/h2>\n

Other prize winners include Karima Bint Omar Mahdaoui<\/em> and Lukas A. Lausen<\/em> who have won two tickets to Tivoli and two caps.<\/p>\n
