A new book by British journalist Patrick Kingsley is almost sure to provoke the locals. Certainly if you take the quotes reported on Seven59.dk and tv2.dk.<\/p>\n

\u00bbIf you don\u2019t look like a Dane, or have a Danish name, you\u2019re never going to be a genuine Dane, even if you\u2019re born in Denmark\u00ab, he writes in the book.<\/p>\n

Introverted and narrow-minded<\/h2>\n

\u00bb\u2026it appears as though being Danish is something a person is born into\u00ab.<\/p>\n

During his research for the book, the 23-year old Mr Kingsley says he was surprised just how prejudiced Danes are. <\/p>\n

\u00bbThey\u2019re just not very accommodating towards people from other countries and I was surprised to experience that they\u2019re far more introverted and narrow-minded than people in Great Britain could ever imagine.\u00ab<\/p>\n

Nice cycle paths<\/h2>\n

At the same time he extols many of the positive things about Denmark: Free universities, the health sector, and \u2026cycle paths, reports Seven59.dk.<\/p>\n
