Whether you are a student or university lecturer, if you have a great idea, product, movement or theory, you may be able to win big on Wednesday 14 November.<\/p>\n

Last year, over 3,500 participants took part in the Danish Entrepreneurship Award nationwide event. This year the event is set to be even bigger, with more than 400 experts across all industries donating a day’s mentorship to the young participants. Gaining industry advice, students also get the chance to win 10,000 kr development money for their project.<\/p>\n

Aside from the competition, the event will host several industry talks and seminars with the Innovation Embassy and Play Foundation. Split between Danish and English language discussions, there will be an unifying message aiming to inspire young dreamers to make something for themselves.<\/p>\n

2012: the year of new entrepreneurs<\/h2>\n

With events being held both in English and Danish, award organisers want to stress that creativity and innovation are universal languages, encouraging people across the Danish education system to sign up for free.<\/p>\n

\u00bbThis year we will repeat the success. With a target of 5000 participants and great support from all six municipalities, 2012 should be the year when entrepreneurship is on everyone’s lips,\u00ab says Christian Vintergaard, Managing Director of the Foundation for Entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

If you think you have a great idea that the world needs to know about, sign up for the competition before October 28th<\/strong> to be considered. There is no fee to sign up and projects can be presented by individuals or in groups, each lasting four minutes in total.<\/p>\n
