","contributor_image":false}]},{"acf_fc_layout":"Content","content":"<p>Copenhagen is no longer one of the world\u2019s most expensive cities, reports Seven59.dk and DR.dk. <\/p>\n<p>In Mercer\u2019s Worldwide Cost of Living Survey for 2012, which covers 214 cities across five continents and measures the comparative cost of over 200 items in each location, including transport, food, clothing, household goods and entertainment, the Danish capital has dropped from number 17 to 21.<\/p>\n<p>Ole Andersen, head of sales and marketing at tourist agency Wonderful Copenhagen, expressed hope that not being perceived as an extremely expensive city would have a positive effect on tourism.<\/p>\n<p>Virtually all European cities have dropped in the rankings, mainly due to a considerable weakening of local currencies, including the euro, against the US dollar.
