
{"id":169196,"date":"2024-10-31T06:29:28","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T05:29:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniavisen.dk\/ny-plan-alle-administrative-medarbejdere-faar-snart-svar-paa-deres-fremtidige-placering\/"},"modified":"2024-10-31T10:40:18","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T09:40:18","slug":"new-plan-all-administration-staff-soon-to-be-informed-of-their-future-work-placement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uniavisen.dk\/en\/new-plan-all-administration-staff-soon-to-be-informed-of-their-future-work-placement\/","title":{"rendered":"New plan: All administration staff soon to be informed of their future work placement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Management has published a new timetable for staffing the future administration at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) on<a href=\"https:\/\/kunet.ku.dk\/newsroom\/news\/Pages\/Employees-will-know-their-new-place-on-5-December.aspx\"> KUnet (requires login).<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It has being changed after a hiring freeze and voluntary redundancies had sufficiently reduced the number of employees, thereby leading to a cancelling of a planned round of layoffs in connection with the administration reform.<\/p>\n<p>The new timetable has been agreed with the the staff-management co-ordinating General Collaboration Committee (HSU), as staff representatives wanted to speed up the process.<\/p>\n<div class=\"factbox\">\n<p class=\"factbox-header feature-color\">New schedule for the administration reform<\/p>\n<p>*4 November: All staff are to be notified by their manager about the intended placement in the new administration.<\/p>\n<p>*5 &#8211; 20 November: Dialogue with current manager about future placement.<\/p>\n<p>*21 November &#8211; 4 December: Managers coordinate and decide where employees are to be placed.<\/p>\n<p>*5 December: Employees are informed of their future placement.<\/p>\n<p>*1 March: The new administration structure takes effect. Prior to this, there will be the opportunity to meet up with new colleagues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO:<\/strong> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/uniavisen.dk\/en\/staff-representative-after-cancelled-layoffs-management-should-have-done-many-things-differently\/\">Staff representative after cancelled layoffs: \u00bbManagement should have done many things differently\u00ab<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the adjusted schedule, each employee will get clarification on 5 December as to where they will be placed in the new administration. This will be two weeks earlier than initially planned. The new organisation of the administration takes effect on 1 March 2025 as planned.<\/p>\n<h3>118 staff have volunteered redundancy<\/h3>\n<p>A round of dialogue will begin 4 November where administration staff will be invited to submit their wishes for new positions in the administration. On this day, staff will be notified about where their manager sees them placed either by email or in-person meeting. After this, there is an option for employees to request another location. This will then be taken into account by managers when the final employee distribution is decided.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO:<\/strong> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/uniavisen.dk\/en\/board-chair-we-are-at-a-watershed-moment-but-we-will-end-up-with-a-better-administration\/\">Board chair: We are at a watershed moment. In addition, 34 employees have applied to reduce their working hours. This corresponds to three full-time staff equivalents. All applications have been granted.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement has so far been that the qualified hiring freeze will run through 2024. Management and the staff representatives in the HSU will now discuss whether this is still the plan, or whether this will be extended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO:<\/strong> <em><a Management and the staff-co-ordinating General Collaboration Committee (HSU) have agreed on a new timetable as staff representatives wanted to speed up the process."},{"acf_fc_layout":"Standfirst","subject":"Administration reform","text":"This is a story about what will follow","use_post_excerpt":true},{"acf_fc_layout":"Byline","is_author":true,"contributors":false},{"acf_fc_layout":"Content","content":"<p>Management has published a new timetable for staffing the future administration at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) on<a href=\"https:\/\/kunet.ku.dk\/newsroom\/news\/Pages\/Employees-will-know-their-new-place-on-5-December.aspx\"> KUnet (requires login).<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It has being changed after a hiring freeze and voluntary redundancies had sufficiently reduced the number of employees, thereby leading to a cancelling of a planned round of layoffs in connection with the administration reform.<\/p>\n<p>The new timetable has been agreed with the the staff-management co-ordinating General Collaboration Committee (HSU), as staff representatives wanted to speed up the process.<\/p>\n<div class=\"factbox\">\n<p class=\"factbox-header feature-color\">New schedule for the administration reform<\/p>\n<p>*4 November: All staff are to be notified by their manager about the intended placement in the new administration.<\/p>\n<p>*5 &#8211; 20 November: Dialogue with current manager about future placement.<\/p>\n<p>*21 November &#8211; 4 December: Managers coordinate and decide where employees are to be placed.<\/p>\n<p>*5 December: Employees are informed of their future placement.<\/p>\n<p>*1 March: The new administration structure takes effect. This will be two weeks earlier than initially planned. The new organisation of the administration takes effect on 1 March 2025 as planned.<\/p>\n<h3>118 staff have volunteered redundancy<\/h3>\n<p>A round of dialogue will begin 4 November where administration staff will be invited to submit their wishes for new positions in the administration. On this day, staff will be notified about where their manager sees them placed either by email or in-person meeting. After this, there is an option for employees to request another location. In addition, 34 employees have applied to reduce their working hours. This corresponds to three full-time staff equivalents. All applications have been granted.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement has so far been that the qualified hiring freeze will run through 2024.
