The University Post got a hold of 119 of these golden questions","use_post_excerpt":false},{"acf_fc_layout":"Byline","is_author":false,"contributors":[{"use_registered_user":false,"user":false,"contributor_name":"Elisabeth Ginsberg","contributor_title":" ","contributor_image":false}]},{"acf_fc_layout":"Content","content":"<p>Last week, the University of Copenhagen hosted an event to inform new exchange and guest students on everything from the Danish welfare model to academic practicalities. <\/p>\n<p>In the middle of it, the University Post presented themselves, and we asked the newcomers a favour: To write down the things they really wanted to know but were afraid to ask. <\/p>\n<p>Back in the newsroom offices, we now have a pile of slips of paper. 119 great \u00bbstupid questions\u00ab concerning everything from the facilities of the Faculty of Humanities at KUA (Why does it smell weird here?) to the contact info of the University Post (a personal favourite: How do I get Elisabeth\u2019s phone number?). <\/p>\n<h2>\u00c6, \u00d8, \u00c5 and coital interaction<\/h2>\n<p>Some students addressed big issues such as the design of Danish coins (Why do Danish krones have holes in them?), the etymological development of the Danish alphabet (Why is the \u2018O\u2019 crossed out (\u00d8)?), or the genetic make-up of Danes (Why are Danish people so blonde?).<\/p>\n<p>Other students had a more pragmatic approach: How do I type the Danish letters \u00c6, \u00d8, \u00c5 on a non-Danish keyboard? How come you can\u2019t buy a ‘klippekort’ bus card from the bus driver? Why don\u2019t all sinks have garbage disposals?
