There have in the press been recent accusations of scientific misconduct by Milena Penkowa as well as negligence on the part of the University of Copenhagen in handling recurrent claims of fraud against her over the past decade.<\/p>\n
To preserve the credibility of the University of Copenhagen and the international reputation of Danish research we advise these matters to be transparently reviewed.<\/p>\n
As members of the Danish and international research community representing several Danish Universities we ask the Copenhagen University Board of Governors to establish an independent board equipped with the necessary scientific and legal competence to review all aspects of the alleged fraud and its oversight.<\/p>\n
