It seems a bit like a game show. The Danish government\u2019s new \u2018Immigration Pact\u2019 has internationals and their spouses gathering points to earn the right to a permanent visa. <\/p>\n

Those under the age of 24 will require 120 points and those over 24 need 60 points.<\/p>\n

PhD or Masters degree from Denmark or a top 20 university – 120 points<\/p>\n

PhD or Masters degree from another university abroad \u2013 80 points<\/p>\n

Bachelor degree from Denmark or a top 20 university \u2013 70 points<\/p>\n

Bachelor degree from another university abroad \u2013 50<\/p>\n

Business school or professional Bachelor degree in Denmark \u2013 50 points<\/p>\n

Business school or professional Bachelor degree from abroad \u2013 40 points<\/p>\n

2. Work experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

2 years of qualified work in Denmark \u2013 80 points<\/p>\n

2.5 years of qualified work in the last 3 years \u2013 60 points<\/p>\n

Other work experience for 2.5 of the last 3 years \u2013 40 points<\/p>\n

3. Language qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

Danish, Swedish and Norwegian level C1 (on a common European grading system, where C2 is the highest, followed by C1, B2, B1, A2 and A1) \u2013 50 points<\/p>\n

English, German, French or Spanish level C1 \u2013 40 points<\/p>\n

4. Other (Note: A maximum of 20 points in this category)<\/strong><\/p>\n
