For those of you who have just arrived in Copenhagen, the Student Caf\u00e9 will probably be one of the first places you get to know. There is cheap beer (when you show your University of Copenhagen student card), live music and a chance to meet other international students every Wednesday evening. Here’s the programme for January:<\/p>\n

Saturday 9 January 21:00: Live music with Apparently No, Ballistophonic, La Champville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apparently No are a newly formed band that combines an intense vocal sound with guitar-oriented progressive rock. They cite their influences as The Cure, Band of Horses, Kent, Neil Young, The Libertines and Coldplay.<\/p>\n

Ballistophonic invade hearts and ears with grandiose and lyrical indie melancholy.<\/p>\n

La Champville are four guys with a passion for rock and roll, who combine surf and 60\u2019s inspiration and a hefty dose of enthusiasm. The result is high energy, experimental and catchy melodies. <\/p>\n

Tuesday 12 January 19:00: BLUS <\/strong>(the organisation for gay, lesbian and transsexual students in Copenhagen) run the bar and get together for a beer or two. Read more about BLUS here.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Wednesday 13 January 19:00: International caf\u00e9 with DJ Kugl and Ham Den Lille. <\/strong>
\nA party for anyone from anywhere; Danes and internationals come together for music, beer and fun. <\/p>\n

Friday 15 January 21:00: The Kites and Klub Tone<\/strong>
\nThe Student Caf\u00e9\u2019s monthly indie night.<\/p>\n

Saturday 16 January 20.00: The Alternative Rythmic Music Academy (DARK)<\/strong>
\n A final concert for the students at the academy with various musicians and bands performing for their final exams. <\/p>\n

Tuesday 19 January 19:00: BLUS <\/strong>(the organisation for gay, lesbian and transsexual students in Copenhagen) <\/p>\n

Wednesday 20 January 19:00: International caf\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday 21 January 21:00: Klub 2.0<\/strong>
\nKlub 2.0 is the Student Caf\u00e9s monthly electronic live event, which gives new and upcoming acts a chance to perform to a friendly audience. This month\u2019s line up offers sounds from Stoffer & Maskinen, Dubnumb and VJ Antima55.<\/p>\n

There is cheap beer (when you show your University of Copenhagen student card), live music and a chance to meet other international students every Wednesday evening. Here’s the programme for January:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 9 January 21:00: Live music with Apparently No, Ballistophonic, La Champville<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apparently No are a newly formed band that combines an intense vocal sound with guitar-oriented progressive rock. They cite their influences as The Cure, Band of Horses, Kent, Neil Young, The Libertines and Coldplay.<\/p>\n<p>Ballistophonic invade hearts and ears with grandiose and lyrical indie melancholy.<\/p>\n<p>La Champville are four guys with a passion for rock and roll, who combine surf and 60\u2019s inspiration and a hefty dose of enthusiasm. The result is high energy, experimental and catchy melodies. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 12 January 19:00: BLUS <\/strong>(the organisation for gay, lesbian and transsexual students in Copenhagen) run the bar and get together for a beer or two. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blus.dk\/\">Read more about BLUS here.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 13 January 19:00: International caf\u00e9 with DJ Kugl and Ham Den Lille. <\/strong><br \/>\nA party for anyone from anywhere; Danes and internationals come together for music, beer and fun. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday 15 January 21:00: The Kites and Klub Tone<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Student Caf\u00e9\u2019s monthly indie night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 16 January 20.00: The Alternative Rythmic Music Academy (DARK)<\/strong><br \/>\n A final concert for the students at the academy with various musicians and bands performing for their final exams. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 19 January 19:00: BLUS <\/strong>(the organisation for gay, lesbian and transsexual students in Copenhagen) <\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 20 January 19:00: International caf\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday 21 January 21:00: Klub 2.0<\/strong><br \/>\nKlub 2.0 is the Student Caf\u00e9s monthly electronic live event, which gives new and upcoming acts a chance to perform to a friendly audience.
