Andreas de Neergaard is to be Associate Dean for Education at the Faculty of Social Sciences as of 1 September 2017.<\/p>\n

ANDREAS DE NEERGAARD<\/p>\n

1989: Graduated<\/strong> from high school, Christianshavns Gymnasium<\/p>\n

1997: MSc biology<\/strong>, Aarhus University<\/p>\n

2001: PhD in agroecology<\/strong>. Department of Agricultural Sciences, Royal Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He comes to the faculty from a position as a professor with special responsibilities for the development of education and teaching at the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n

“With Andreas de Neergaard we get a very competent and dynamic associate dean with extensive experience in education management, establishment of new education programmes, interdisciplinary education co-operation and internationalization of education,” says Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Troels \u00d8stergaard S\u00f8rensen on the faculty’s webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Andreas de Neergaard replaces Professor, MSc Economics. Birgitte Sloth, who is currently Associate Dean for Education.<\/p>\n

Experience from Faculty of Science<\/h3>\n

46-year-old Andreas de Neergaard is a PhD from the former Agricultural University in Copenhagen. He has worked with education management for a number of years and is currently Head of Studies for the bachelor’s programme in Natural Resources, the master’s programme in Agricultural Development and in Agris Mundis, a joint European master’s degree programme.<\/p>\n

The associate dean is to take care of daily operations and to develop, coordinate, implement and communicate the faculty’s overall education strategy, including the new strategy plans that will apply from 2018.<\/p>\n

“We expect themes such as globalization, digitization and data science to be prominent elements in an upcoming strategy. Andreas de Neergaard has experience and interest in these themes, and the faculty will benefit greatly from it,” says Troels \u00d8stergaard S\u00f8rensen.

Birgitte Sloth, who is currently Associate Dean for Education.<\/p>\n<h3>Experience from Faculty of Science<\/h3>\n<p>46-year-old Andreas de Neergaard is a PhD from the former Agricultural University in Copenhagen. He has worked with education management for a number of years and is currently Head of Studies for the bachelor’s programme in Natural Resources, the master’s programme in Agricultural Development and in Agris Mundis, a joint European master’s degree programme.<\/p>\n<p>The associate dean is to take care of daily operations and to develop, coordinate, implement and communicate the faculty’s overall education strategy, including the new strategy plans that will apply from 2018.<\/p>\n<p>“We expect themes such as globalization, digitization and data science to be prominent elements in an upcoming strategy.
