The government wants more world class Danish research. This is the message in a new research strategy launched Tuesday 5th December.<\/p>\n
Scientific working environments are to be strengthened so that Danish researchers can bring home more Nobel prizes, says Minister for Education and Research S\u00f8ren Pind (V) to the news site Politiken<\/a>:<\/p>\n “It is important to pursue excellence. We need to establish strong scientific environments that can compete for the Nobel prizes.”<\/p>\n The strategy is “a long-term effort,” Pind said at the press conference.<\/p>\n The new strategy is in the wake of the Danish government’s billion kroner cuts to education.
