Students at the University of Copenhagen this Thursday, can speak to a range of Danish companies in an intimate setting at the annual career fair hosted by the Kubulus alumni Association. It is the 12th time they play host to this event. <\/p>\n

The alumni association works to bring former and present students of UCPH together. This year\u2019s fair has several unique aspects. For the first time, there are two separate streams being run, one specifically tailored to international students held in English, and one held in Danish focusing on knowledge of networking. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe fair is special in the sense that we are trying to create a small intimate setting, not one where you are one of many people in the crowd,\u201d says Marie M\u00f8gelvang, who is responsible for the fair.<\/p>\n

Speed dating<\/h2>\n

The event will begin with a welcome speech from the UCPH Prorector for Research Thomas Bj\u00f8rnholm, and will include keynote speakers such Heidi Heltborg Juul, head of recruitment of the TDC Group. <\/p>\n

The international focus will allow students to learn about jobs both in Denmark and abroad. The goal is to create a unique opportunity for students to interact with representatives from Danish and international companies. <\/p>\n

Throughout the fair there will be various events including one-on-one ‘speed dating’ which matches a student with an industry representative. There will also be CV checking. mock interviews and workshops on how to work with people from other study backgrounds. <\/p>\n
