More free Science in the City<\/h2>\n

The free and interactive Science in the City festival continues for one final day on Thursday at the Carlsberg City district, which is separated into seven areas with interactive exhibits, workshops, and presentations. <\/p>\n

Science, democracy, and citizenship<\/strong>
\nOn the Media stage<\/strong>, Tim Radford, David Budtz Pedersen, and Gunver Lystbaek Vestergaard discuss the complicated relationship between science and democracy.
\nWhen:<\/strong> 12.00-13.00. The event is open to the public.<\/p>\n

Science Drop: Openness and Profitability<\/strong>
\nIn the Explore<\/strong> district, Kopenlab is hosting a Science Drop<\/em>, where participants are encouraged to share their opinions on open source science in relation to profitability.
\nWhen:<\/strong> 10:30-11:30. The event is open to the public. <\/p>\n

Most of the stalls and installations throughout the Science in the City district are open until 3.00 or later, so make sure you find the time for one final stroll through the different districts!<\/p>\n

The quiet revolution of heritage and its implications for citizenship<\/strong>
\nThis session will address how cultural heritage is being used and valued in new ways by communities of residents and citizens in a changing world.

Nudges and public policy<\/strong>
\nIn the last plenary talk of the conference, Harvard professor Cass R. Sunstein will discuss decision making in the context of public policy.

Handover ceremony<\/strong>
\nAt the handover ceremony Copenhagen will pass the torch to Manchester, where the next ESOF conference will take place in 2016. The event will feature a speech by General Director of Research and Innovation, European Commission Robert-Jan Smits, entertainment and a reception.

Sunstein will discuss decision making in the context of public policy.<br \/>\n<strong>Where:<\/strong> Plenary Hall, TAP1, Carlsberg City<br \/>\n<strong>When:<\/strong> 11.30-12.30<\/p>\n<p><strong>Handover ceremony<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the handover ceremony Copenhagen will pass the torch to Manchester, where the next ESOF conference will take place in 2016. The event will feature a speech by General Director of Research and Innovation, European Commission Robert-Jan Smits, entertainment and a reception.<br \/>\n<strong>Where:<\/strong> TAP1, Plenary Hall, Carlsberg City<br \/>\n<strong>When:<\/strong> 12.30-13.30<\/p>\n<p>Conference registration is necessary to attend.
