How about running a marathon, spread out over five days, which takes in some of the wonderful sights of Copenhagen that you probably didn\u2019t even know existed?<\/p>\n<p>The Etape Copenhagen is a marathon made up of five races, in five different locations, over five days. The event is for runners of all abilities who want to enjoy unique running experiences in locations which are usually reserved for those in the know. <\/p>\n<p>There are three Copenhagen running clubs behind the event – FIF, KIF and Motionsklubben Amager, collaborating with the sports organisation DGI Stork\u00f8benhavn. The organisers hope to attract summer runners seeking to combine exercise, sightseeing and the seaside. Each race will start at 9 in the morning to allow participants to make the most of Copenhagen over the day. <\/p>\n<p>The first stage takes place on Monday 30 June (Bryggen – distance 12.045 km).
