The latest cabinet re-shuffle, the sixth since the government came to power in 2011, signals a cautious, safety-first approach, reports seven59.dk and other media.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Helle Thorning Schmidt has assembled a team of \u2018tried and trusted\u2019 faces rather than a fresh, innovative shake-up ahead of the next election, according to editor Troels Mylenberg who said the PM wants to enforce the message that she\u2019s in charge and doesn\u2019t want any major changes.<\/p>\n

However, despite the lack of surprises, he said the new cabinet can offer some much-needed \u2018vitality\u2019 to the government, which continues to struggle in the polls ahead of the next election that has to be held by the end of next year.<\/p>\n

The PM was forced into a new cabinet reshuffle after the Socialist People\u2019s Party (SPP) resigned from the government last week, leaving six ministries vacant. The new ministers are:<\/p>\n

Foreign Affairs:<\/strong>
\nMartin Lidegaard (Soc. Lib) is the third Minister for Foreign Affairs since 2011, moving from the Ministry for Climate, Energy and Building.<\/p>\n

Tax:<\/strong>
\nMorten \u00d8stergaard, often referred to as the \u2018Crown Prince\u2019 of the Social Liberals, is the new Minister for Taxation, the fourth since the government came to power in 2011.<\/p>\n

Health:<\/strong>
\nNick H\u00e6kkerup (Soc.Dem) moves from Climate & Energy to replace Astrid Krag at the Health Ministry.<\/p>\n

Social Affairs:<\/strong>
\nManu Sareen (Soc.Lib) replaces former SPP leader Anette Vilhelmsen in a new ministry: Social Affairs and Gender Equality.<\/p>\n

Transport:<\/strong>
\nThe Social Democrats\u2019 policy spokesman, Magnus Heunicke, is the new Transport Minister.<\/p>\n

Trade\/Development:<\/strong>
\nSocial Democrat Mogens Jensen moves into the Foreign Ministry as Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation, replacing the Social Liberals\u2019 Rasmus Helveg Petersen, who after just two months in the job has moves sideways to Climate & Energy.<\/p>\n

Education:<\/strong>
\nSocial Liberal whip Sofie Carsten Nielsen replaces party colleague Morten \u00d8stergaard as the new Minister for Education.<\/p>\n

Culture\/Ecclesiastical Affairs:<\/strong>
\nCurrent Climate Minister Marianne Jelved adds \u2018Ecclesiastical Affairs\u2019 to her portfolio.<\/p>\n

Environment:<\/strong>
\nKristen Brosb\u00f8l (Soc. Dems) is the new Minister for the Environment, replacing Ida Auken who \u2018defected\u2019 from the SPP to the Social Liberals, Friday.<\/p>\n

Climate & Energy:<\/strong>
\nRasmus Helveg Petersen (Social Liberals) replaces Martin Lidegaard as MInister for Climate & Energy.<\/p>\n

Lib) is the third Minister for Foreign Affairs since 2011, moving from the Ministry for Climate, Energy and Building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tax:<\/strong><br \/>\nMorten \u00d8stergaard, often referred to as the \u2018Crown Prince\u2019 of the Social Liberals, is the new Minister for Taxation, the fourth since the government came to power in 2011.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Health:<\/strong><br \/>\nNick H\u00e6kkerup (Soc.Dem) moves from Climate & Energy to replace Astrid Krag at the Health Ministry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Affairs:<\/strong><br \/>\nManu Sareen (Soc.Lib) replaces former SPP leader Anette Vilhelmsen in a new ministry: Social Affairs and Gender Equality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transport:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Social Democrats\u2019 policy spokesman, Magnus Heunicke, is the new Transport Minister.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trade\/Development:<\/strong><br \/>\nSocial Democrat Mogens Jensen moves into the Foreign Ministry as Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation, replacing the Social Liberals\u2019 Rasmus Helveg Petersen, who after just two months in the job has moves sideways to Climate & Energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><br \/>\nSocial Liberal whip Sofie Carsten Nielsen replaces party colleague Morten \u00d8stergaard as the new Minister for Education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture\/Ecclesiastical Affairs:<\/strong><br \/>\nCurrent Climate Minister Marianne Jelved adds \u2018Ecclesiastical Affairs\u2019 to her portfolio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Environment:<\/strong><br \/>\nKristen Brosb\u00f8l (Soc.
