Copenhagen law team: We are on the right track

Copenhagen's law team, alias The Republic of Isles, is pleased with the preliminary negotiations of the Copenhagen Competition. But they await tougher discussion rounds

The four members of the University of Copenhagen team, or ‘The Republic of Isles’, are happy with the unfolding of the first negotiations.

The team of four girls is taking part in the third annual Copenhagen Competition at the Faculty of Law. The event brings together delegations from several universities around the world to debate on a controversial topic. This year it’s all about ‘Access to Food’.

»It was very good and quite interesting negotiations,« reports Sinja Kongshøj. »We are happy«.

Just the beginning

Prior to the competition, the girls prepared by creating a training camp.

»We are now focused on negotiating and debating the proposals,« they say.

They emphasize that today’s discussions are only the beginning. Negotiations will become more interesting as the level of debate rises. »It was a good experience,« says Sinja Kongshøj.

Louise Wichmann Madsen adds: »But we could feel it was just the first negotiation«.
