About The University Post (Uniavisen)

The University Post (Uniavisen in Danish) is the University of Copenhagen’s independent newspaper produced for students and university employees – and anyone else who wants to read about the institution. We appear online in both English (Universitypost.dk) and Danish (Uniavisen.dk) and produce six print issues in Danish annually.

Universitetsavisen is editorially independent of University of Copenhagen management and is produced according to established journalistic standards and does not represent the views, opinions or priorities of the management of the University of Copenhagen.

Get in touch

Students and university employees are always welcome to contact the editorial team. We regularly print reader contributions to the debate. Contact us at uni-avis@adm.ku.dk. If you have ideas for stories or events that you think we should cover, you should also send them along to uni-avis@adm.ku.dk.

If you are a student, you also have the possibility to join Uniavisen’s writer network.

How to join our University Post writer’s network

Our news coverage stems partly from our network of student reporters – and photographers. If you would like to join the team, send an email with examples of your work and / or ideas for specific stories to Editor-in-Chief Dennis Christiansen at dennis.christiansen@adm.ku.dk.

We launch a new team of student reports every year in August. Besides the opportunity to write articles and take photos for Uniavisen, as a reporter you attend regular editorial meetings where you will receive training in journalistic fundamentals from both the editorial team and talented, inspiring guests.

Calendar events

Students, staff and scientists are welcome to set up a calendar event on the University Post.

Our Ethical Code of Conduct

The University Post follows an Ethical Code of Conduct that describes the rights of our sources, and the duties of our reporters. This is to make sure that anyone who is quoted on uniavisen.dk is treated fairly and professionally.
