Internationals invited to parliament, the movies

Several events coming up for University of Copenhagen's international staff in November

The International Staff Mobility office has several events lined up in November for international staff and researchers. Visit the Danish parliament, join other internationals at the movies, and find out about the Danish system.

The ISM office has sent us a calendar:

Visit to the Danish Parlament – ‘Folketinget’, including dinner!
Max. 50 participants, so ISM will confirm your registration by first served.

‘Invitation to the Cinema’
The ISM office invites you to join them at the cinema to watch one of the most successful Danish features: ‘Italiensk for begyndere’. This feature was nominated in many categories and won a lot of prizes. To introduce the feature and to talk a little about the Danish film industry and Danish humour we are happy to introduce Assosiated Professor at the University of Copenhagen, Peter Schepelern.

Information meeting for newly employed. (For those of you, who did not already attend one of ISM’s information meetings)
The purpose of the meeting is to inform about the university and topics related to living and working in Denmark, such as the tax system, the pension system, the health system, insurances, Danish society, the school system and leisure activities etc.
The next meeting is held on Thursday, 26 November, 15 – 17. This meeting takes place in Udvalgsværelse 1 (meeting room 1), Nørregade 10, 1165 København K.
