Find out what’s going on around the city this weekend. We give you a brief summary of the creme de la creme!

This week may bring some sad goodbyes, but there is plenty on offer with Culture Night, designer sales, beer pong and baked treats.

Thursday

Meyers Bakery Opening
Where: Amagerbrogade 48, Amager
When: Thursday 10 7:00-20:00
What: Meyers Bakery opens its doors to their newest store today and have a special surprise – PIZZA! Free tastings are offered throughout the day so be sure to drop by for a snack or two or three if you’re in the area.

Friday

Before the end party
Where: Simons, Store Strandstræde 14 Cph K
When: Friday 23:00-5:00
What: This weekend the centrally located club Simons will close their doors after three years of parties but they plan to go out in style! There will be a free par from 22:00-00 and a line up featuring Jesper Djurås, ohboy, Mikkel Soltauw, Lundsgaard and

Trailerpark Festival ‘13 Photobook Launch
When: Friday 19:00-11:00
Where: Nørre Voldgade 16, Cph K
What: If you were lucky enough to attend the sold out Trailerpark Festival 2013 you will know first hand the good vibes created at this years music and art festival. The fun continues with the launch of this year’s photobook, so be sure to head down and enjoy some cheap beers, friendly faces and be the first to get the dates for TRAILERPARK 2014!

KE13 – Autumn Art Exhibition
Where:Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art, Oslo Plads 1, Cph Ø
When: Friday 17:00
What: The exhibition aims to identify and exhibit the crème de la crème of upcoming Danish artistic talent and all media, styles, genres and topics will be represented to to offer a ‘kaleidoscopic look at this year’s trends’. Attend the opening event to experience The Circle – a group of eight guitarists who form a vivid surround sound installation.

Culture Night
Where: Various locations around Copenhagen
When: Friday 11 October
What: Over 650 events in the city’s museums, theaters, ministries, churches, basements, parks and squares. For just one night, the city facades and historic buildings will be adorned with lights. Major cultural institutions will open their doors and create one-off events, exhibitions and secret tours for all.
