This weekend: Big end of year party

Students to celebrate summer, finished exams and the university spirit before going their separate ways next Saturday 23 June

With exams mostly over, the summer spirit is spreading fast. Many students will soon part ways – either on the way home or simply on summer vacation. But prior to this, Jammed Academix wants all university students to party side by side at an end-of-year-start-of-summer bash this Saturday 23 June.

It promises to be big, as the guest list includes all the students from universities in and around Copenhagen. Taking place at ‘Docken’, the marina by Nordhavn, students will party with sea side views, sand and sunset. Starting already at 3 pm on Saturday and continuing till sunrise on Sunday, there is both room for relaxed gazing at the sunset and wild moonlight dancing.

The event is organized by Jammed Sounds, which has a long history of organizing many successful student parties. The music line-up for the evening includes both live jazz acts and resident DJs Jonas Bruun and Benster.

Cheap drinks and many smiles

The concept of the party is to mix students from universities of and around Copenhagen, that usually do not get a chance to mingle.

Beers will be DKK 20, drinks DKK 30 – 40. The entrance fee won’t ruin your budget either, as the first 1,000 tickets cost DKK 10 a piece, and the rest cost DKK 40 each. Buy the tickets online here. Even transport is covered, as there is a free party shuttle bus going from Nordhavn Station to the party at Docken.

So, get into the summer spirit and join fellow university students for sea side dances – and find our University Post photographer snapping photos in the crowd.
