12 applicants for University top job

After deadline Friday, the Board of the University of Copenhagen had a dozen applications for the position of Rector

12 people have applied for the top job at the University of Copenhagen. This is according to a University of Copenhagen release.

The University of Copenhagen has appointed a nominating committee, who will evaluate the candidates.

Those selected will then be evaluated in a further recruitment process, which will include two interviews and a test procedure.

Ralf Hemmingsen may, or may not, run again

The Board of the University will make the final decision in the early spring.

The present Rector Ralf Hemmingsen’s position runs to 1 November 2013.

In a surprising move recently, Ralf Hemmingsen opted not to state whether or not he will put forward himself as a candidate.
