Danish education ministers have signed a new deal with the mobility scholarship program 'Science without Borders'.
The new scheme will permit up to 700 talented PhD and post-doc students the opportunity to conduct their studies in one of eight Danish universities, with education and living expenses covered by the Brazilian government.
Agreements on the Science Without Borders contract concluded on Wednesday 19 September in the presence of HRH Crown Princess Mary and Danish university delegators at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The visiting education scheme intends to create greater visibility for Denmark’s science faculties and allows for the development of new institutional ties and opportunity for future exchange with emerging countries.
