UN City Event: Spotlight on Ukraine - Addressing Conflict-Related Sexual Violence

As part of the global campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, UN Women, UNFPA and the Embassy of Finland in Copenhagen invites you to the UN City on 26 November.

Blending art and expert insights, this event will feature remarks from Matthias Schmale, UN Assistant Secretary-General, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine, followed by a panel discussion with UN specialists on conflict-related sexual and gender-based violence: Nina Lompart (UNFPA Ukraine) and Germán Vega Cortés (UN Women Ukraine).

The programme will also include poetry recitals and artworks from the I was born a girl exhibition — a powerful reflection on women’s rights that has travelled the world, including to the United Nations Office at Geneva.
