Photo story: Welcome to the ´kampung´ in Sarawak, Malaysia

Students experience farming and forestry firsthand. See their own photos from a trip which included shamans, rice paddies and tropical rain

Students from University of Copenhagen (UCPH) and Roskilde University’s (RUC) Sustainable Land Use and Resource Management (SLUSE) program went out to a kampung (village) to learn about local farming, forestry, cooking, and lifestyle in the local Sarawak community in Malaysia.

Students Milja Fenger, Oumaima Dridi, Salvatore Sgroi, and Melissa Riman re-tell their stories and share their experiences through this fascinating photo series, which can be seen below, or here.
