Rector will be there, offering students cake, dialogue

Deans and Rector will be at Central Campus, offering cake, fruit and beverages to demonstrating students

Small tents with cake, pastries and drinks will meet the expected thousands that will congregate on Central Campus today Wednesday at midday. This is according to the latest update on the University of Copenhagen’s central campus intranet forum on Demonstrators will be offered post cards so they can offer solutions, it says.

The preparations of the Rector and Deans come after Rector offered surprise concessions to students late last night Tuesday which include not enforcing the 45 ECTS a year rule.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Central Campus offices will be blockaded by students.

Buses, rerouted, students converging

As we write, 200 students from Panum, the Faculty of Health Sciences have been seen converging on Central Campus. They are one of several large groups of students aiming for the central square Vor Frue Plads. Buses have been re-routed, reports say.
