Students protested in front of parliament

Students from all over the country gathered in front of Christianborg, Danish parliament, for a lively demonstration against the study reform

The quiet winter night was lit with loud voices, as a committee meeting at Danish parliament on 10 December was met with protesters bearing the cold weather.

Students and Student Council representatives from around Denmark made the journey into Copenhagen for Studenterrådet’s demonstration against the controversial study reforms. They hoped to make a statement before a Committee in parliament breaks for the holidays, showing their discontent about the reform, even with the one year postponement.

”To defer reform one year is just not an option!” Studenterrådet states on the site. Getting rid of the 60 ECTS a year rule is one of their central goals.
