Brain scientist recalls her appeal to a higher court in one of the fraud cases, and accepts a suspended sentence
Milena Penkowa accepts the verdict of three months suspended sentence in one of several cases of fraud, scientific dishonesty, forgery and embezzlement. She will not appeal to a higher court. This is according to the news agency Ritzau and Politiken.
For legal reasons, the press has not before now been able to mention Milena Penkowa’s name in relation to this particular case. This name ban is no longer upheld.
Penkowa was convicted in the Town Court for the embezzlement of DKK 28,000, forgery of documents, and fabrication of evidence.
