Socialist People's Party quits government

DANISH NEWS - Socialist People's party leader resigns following showdown over sale of stake in energy utility to Goldman Sachs

The Socialist People’s Party (SF) has pulled out of the ruling coalition government as a consequence of the DONG dispute and party leader Anette Vilhelmsen has resigned, reports Seven59.dk

Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt is now faced with the immediate problem of finding six new cabinet ministers and the long-term problem of ruling with a significant minority.

Even though SF pulls out of the government, analysts reckon that a minority government can continue with the present Helle Thorning-Schmidt as Prime Minister.
