Danish and international students to competitively climb in the university sports club USG's bouldering competition Saturday

Even though the highest point in Denmark, Møllehøj, is just 171 meters above sea level, it is a fact that loads of Danes like climbing.

USG the University sports club, has both an indoor and outdoor climbing wall at the Nørre Campus in Østerbro. Seventeen different bouldering and climbing courses, from beginner to advanced levels, are offered each week.

Climbing competition on Saturday
Bouldering is a style of climbing. No rope is used and it is usually limited to a few movements over a crash pad, which protects from injuries.

Saturday, January 29 approximately 25 students, Danes and internationals, will take part in a bouldering competition organised by the USG. The event will be held in the Frederik IX Hall at Nørre Alle 57 at 13:00.
