The annual Global Health Symposium at the University of Copenhagen highlights one of the most urgent climate-related health challenges: the rising impact of extreme heat. As global temperatures increase, heat is expected to become a major public health threat. This three-day symposium gathers international experts, early-career researchers, students, and practitioners to share the latest research, discuss practical solutions, and foster collaboration across disciplines. The programme includes keynote talks, lightning presentations, a PhD/Postdoc workshop, group work on real-world cases, a panel debate, and a public film screening. The event is free and open to all.
