Board called in to meet Minister

The entire Board of Executives of the University of Copenhagen has been called in to the Ministry of Science, sources confirm

The Board of Executives of the University of Copenhagen has been called in to explain itself to the Minister of Science Charlotte Sahl-Madsen today Thursday. This is according to our Danish section Universitetsavisen.

The Ministry has confirmed that all 11 members of the Board will be at the Ministry of Science this afternoon.

The meeting is likely the first after the Minister of Science last week put the University of Copenhagen under ‘heightened supervision’ status. The minister rebuked on this occasion the Board of Executives for its own rendering of the University’s legal advisers report on the Milena Penkowa case.

Neither Minister of Science Charlotte Sahl-Madsen nor Board Chairman Nils Strandberg Pedersen have been willing to comment before the meeting.
