Copenhagen's ten tour card for buses, S-trains to stay one more year

Problems with a much-criticised electronic replacement has forced authorities to change policy. The lifetime of Copenhagen's iconic cardboard ´klippekort´ for buses and S-trains has been extended

The use of Copenhagen’s classical ten-tour clip card will be extended for one year, reports

The new electronic travel card, the so-called rejsekort had been lined up to replace it 1 July, but now transport companies, Movia, Metroselskabet and DSB have agreed to extend the ten-tour card (titurs-klippekort’s) lifetime.

The replacement has been accused by passengers and critics of being more expensive, and harder to use.
