Does your teacher deserve DKK 25,000?

Do you know a teacher that can make you laugh out loud, or turn the dullest of subjects into a lively discussion? Nominate your favourite lecturer for the annual Harald prize, and DKK 25,000

The University of Copenhagen is looking for nominees for the annual teaching award ‘Årets Harald’. As well as prestige and DKK 25,000, the winner receives a porcelain owl.

Each year, the prize is given out annually to one of the University’s lecturers, part- or full time employed, for inspirational teaching. It is presented at the annual Commemoration Ceremony on Thursday 18 November, 2010.

Nominate your favourite teacher

By giving out the award, which is named after the mathematician Harald Bohr, the also famous physicist Niels Bohr’s brother, the University of Copenhagen wishes to appreciate high-quality university teaching.

Are you a student or employee at the University of Copenhagen and do you know this year’s best lecturer?

E-mail your reasoned proposal in an attached Word-file of max. 1 page no later than Friday 1 October, 2010 to the commemoration coordinators: Aarsfest@adm.ku.dk
