E-mail circular: To brief students, staff at 15.00

Chairman of the Board sends e-mail to all students and staff: Open invitation to briefing on the Penkowa case at the Panum Institute at 15.00

The University of Copenhagen has »now reached a milestone in the much debated case regarding researcher Milena Penkowa«.

This is according to an e-mail circular by the Rector’s Office sent out to all 35,000 students and 10,000 staff at the University of Copenhagen Tuesday, and signed by Chairman of the Board Nils Strandberg Pedersen.

»I invite all staff and students to attend an open meeting in the Lundsgaard auditorium in the Panum Building, Blegdamsvej 3, at 3.00 p.m. today. The doors will open at 2.45 p.m. The meeting will be held in Danish,« he writes.

Meeting right now

Kammeradvokaten’s report (in Danish) will be published in its entirety on this address, http://nyheder.ku.dk/penkowa, at noon today, once the Board meeting has concluded, the circular writes.

The circular e-mail comes after a Board meeting last night. »This meeting will continue this morning«, Nils Strandberg Pedersen writes.
