Whether you are a quick fixer or a deep digger, festival 'Philosophy Now' promises something for everybody.
These days a philosophy festival is taking place in Copenhagen. Until the 22nd of September numerous events will offer the citizens of Copenhagen the opportunity to dive into the world of philosophy.
While most of the events are in Danish, several will be in English. The German philosopher Jan-Werner Müller, who is a professor at Princeton, will be giving a free lecture on the democratic future of Europe.
There will also be English movies showing – amongst others the controversial documentary ‘The Act of Killing’ in which executioners of the Indonesian genocide reenact their real-life mass killings, and the English professor Richard Jenkins will be giving a lecture on Danish identity.
