Bulging bones and twisting torsos - old skeletons are given new life at the Medical Museion
These old skeletons, previously used to teach about skeletal deformities in medical sciences, are preserved for display at the University of Copenhagen’s Medical Museion, which belongs to the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
The Medical Museion has one of the biggest and richest historical collections of medical artefacts in Europe, with around 150,000 — 250,000 artefacts.
Visit the main museum exhibition space at:
Bredgade 62
1260 Copenhagen
And check out the Medical Museion website here.
