Red bloc will get 91 mandates, blue bloc 84, making Helle Thorning-Schmidt of the Social Democrats the new Prime Minister, according to a prognosis now out on national TV DR
Helle Thorning-Schmidt will be the first Danish woman Prime Minister. This is according to an exit-prognosis reported by TV station DR. It is not an exit-poll, but an opinion poll, where some of the interviews have been carried out yesterday, some today Thursday.
Voting officially ends at 20.00. By 22.00-22.30 nearly all votes should have been tallied and the speculation about who’ll be part of the new coalition will start.
Exit polls, where voters are asked what they voted, are under restriction from being published until later.
