The science festival running in parallel to the EuroScience Open Forum conference aims to bring scientists together with the general public
Almost 10,000 people attended the Science in the City festival on its opening day on Saturday 21 June, according to the organisers.
In several areas around the Carlsberg district, both indoors and outdoors, named things like Wonder, Explore, and Discover, various universities and research institutions provide a hands-on experience of science.
The University of Copenhagen City Campus, designed by UCPH students, for example, is home to a teddy bear clinic, and molecular cuisine.

The Science in the City Festival continues until Thursday 26 June. Find the programme here.
