Semester start party Friday at Studenterhuset

Celebrate the semester kickoff with free hotdogs, drink specials, and a great music lineup

It may still feel like winter, but the spring semester is upon us, and there’s no better way to clear your head from the first week of classes than by catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and dancing the night away at the city’s biggest student bar.

Studenterhuset writes on their facebook page that they will hand out 200 free hot dogs at at 6pm.

Highlights of the party include free hotdogs (so show up early!), happy hour from 12-22 (2 beers for 35 kr!) and local DJ’s such as Pato Siebenhaar, Topgunn, and DJ’s from the University of Copenhagen radio station.

The poets in the Studenterhuset are going all clever on us with a poem on their Facebook page:

The bun said
to the hot dog
I’m open, come on in
you look like you
could use a rest
come lay down in my den!

The hot dog
took the welcome
and with a sudden jump
he dove into the mustard jar
and spread it on his rump!

I’m ready Mr. hot dog bun
and thank you
for the ‘hello’
for just as you look good in tan
I too look good in yellow!

– Michael Hubbert

Hope to see you there! See details in the fact box right and on their facebook page here.
