In the courtyard, beers and hotdogs.
Last year, university management decided to merge the matriculation ceremonies that had previously been separate for Danish and international students.
The selfies had started to feed in on Twitter before the ceremony began: Others looked forward to greeting the man in charge:

Later, students headed over to the matriculation party at Studenterhuset, with live music and cheap beer.
One student, put it simply in the language of Twitter: “First day of my #masters #excited #ucph”.
